I'm moving...

Hi guys, it's been forever since I wrote here. A lot of things happend in my life in these months and I've taken the decision to move to another platform because I don't really feel like keeping this blog alive. I wanted some more space, for myself, for just talking about all my interests and my passions which are quite a few aside from makeup. I felt like wordpress would be a better place to interact with people (or at least I hope :P) and so I moved there. On that blog I'll try to be more regular in posting but as I said, the main focus won't be makeup alone. I hope my reviews and my posts on this blog have helped at least someone and if you want to follow me I'll be very happy to have you on board :)

Concerning my channel... I don't think I'll continue that project either. It's not a tragedy of course because I had very few followes, but I just wanted to put it out there. YouTube it's just not my thing for several reasons... I feel like youtube is already saturated with channels and honestly if you don't have "friends" or you're not doing something completely new, it's hard to even get noticed because the videos sometimes wouldn't even show up if I wrote the exact title in the search bar (:'D). Basically the more views you have, the more you're going to get and if you're like me, starting from 0 with no "help" it's just not going to happen. Not that I meant to be famous or anything, but when you start you do realize that it takes really A LOT of effort, time and, if you want to get better, money but you're getting nearly 0 feedback and I just don't have the time, nor I'm willing to do a lot of videos just for the sake of views. I'm not closing the channel because as I said, I put a lot of effort in that videos, but I'm not making any new one... at least for now.

Whoo, that was a lot of talking! Thanks to all that read this post and I hope to see you "on the other side" ;)

Colorful metallic smokey eye

Hi everyone! I know I know... I've been absent for a very long time, but eh, you know me XD

I was just playing around with my makeup the other day and that's what I came up with! I do really like it, my boyfriend liked that tooXD what do you think? Maybe I'll do a video tutorial soon (need some free time to film, be patient).

Also stay tuned because I'll be uploading my MAC lipstick collection swatches very very soon (+a little update in general about my situation at the moment and future plans for my channel)!

Lime Crime Cashmere Dupe?

Hi everyone! This post is totally random...
I was playing around with lipsticks today and lately I'm really into greige-kind-of colors. Of course everyone knows and raves about Lime Crime Velvetine in Cashmere, but I wanted to find a similar shade firstly because after all that happened in this last months with Lime Crime I don't want to buy any more products from them, secondly because as beutiful as it might be, Cashmere is SOOOOO drying on me.

I recently bought some of the Jordana modern matte lipsticks (might do a video swatch soon), and this is what I came up with:

Jordana Innocent is a similar color but not an exact dupe. As you can see from the swatches, cashmere is a tiny bit darker and has a bit more pink to it. To me it's personally close enough, I think it's very hard to find an exact dupe for Cashmere, also I needed it to be confortable. This in my opinion is a good comprimise, it's still a greige color, good payoff, awsome staying power and it's not so drying. If you want to add more pink to it, just wear a mauve lip liner under it.

Trovare il proprio sottotono di pelle... impresa impossibile? Non più!

Ciao ragazzi :) sono mancata da un po'... scusate l'assenza ma in questo periodo non sono riuscita a filmare molti video poichè ho aperto un Etsy shop e mi ci sono dedicata completamente per qualche tempo. Se volete passare a dare un'occhiata mi farebbe molto piacere! Vai a Etsy!

Ma bando alle ciance, se siete delle make up addicted come me, vi sarà spesso capitato di chiedervi quali sono i colori che vi stanno meglio e che vi donano di più, e vi siete sentite rispondere "dipende dal tuo sottotono di pelle". Eh già, ma poi dopo aver guardato un centinaio di video non siete comunque riuscite a venirne a capo... Sono calda, fredda, rosa, gialla, blu...???! Don't panic! Ho trovato un articolo che fa al caso nostro ;) ho cercato di spiegarvelo al meglio in questo video.

Allora, siete riuscite a capirci qualcosa stavolta? ;P spero di avervi aiutato!
